Learn how to use everyday items for self Defense
Description
A 4 week long mini course where participants learn how to use a new household item in a self defense scenario each week. In a fun, supportive and unintimidating environment, individuals will gain a sense of empowerment when dealing with real life altercations and scenarios. Participants will also learn situational awareness, functional self defense tactics and gain exposure to Filipino martial arts.

Eligibility
– No former training experience necessary
– Women Only (cis, trans & non-binary are welcome)
– Ages 14+
Dates + Time
– Mondays @ 6PM
– 2/3, 2/10, 2/17 and 2/24
Venue
– South End Studio
Details / What to Bring
– Wear comfortable workout clothing
– Non marking indoor shoes are the only footwear option, otherwise prepare to train in socks or go barefoot.
– Training cellphones will be provided but other items must be brought by each participant.
– Each weekly session is around 1 hour in length (a total of 4 hours of training).
– Total class size of 10 participants.
